Go to the Data Sets Appendix in the Salkind book. Locate “Chapter 6, Data Set 1.”
Create a scatterplot in Excel. Prior to doing so, address which variable should be your x and which should be your y, and explain why.
After completing both tasks, use Excel to calculate the correlation coefficient. Explain the strength of the relationship based on the coefficient.
Repeat the previous process for “Chapter 16, Data Set 1.”
In all, you will have 2 scatterplots to present and analyze.
