Personal reflection (20 points)

T‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌erminology Part 1 (40 points)
Define (in your own words, be sure to never plagiarize) the following terms and then provide specific examples for each—that is, use them correctly in a sentence to additionally demonstrate your understanding of what they mean. Start with the first term, provide the definition in your own words, then use the term in a sentence so that it shows you know what the term means. Put in a blank line to separate it from the second term and then repeat the process for ease of understanding and grading. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you.
Heredity, Genomes, Bioethics, Chromosomes, Genes, Alleles, DNA profiling, Metagenomics, Somatic cells, Sex cells, Nucleic acids, Carbohydrates, Lipids, Proteins, Organelles, Nucleus, Membranes, Checkpoints, Apoptosis, Human microbiome
Terminology Part 2 (40 points)
Describe what is meant by the two terms prov‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌ided below. Be sure to fully describe the different components/phases that make them up and describe why they are so important in living things.
Central Dogma (transcription and translation)
Cell cycle (interphase with all its different subphases followed by mitosis and its subphases finishing with cytokinesis)
Personal Reflection (20 points)
Reflect on four of the terms above and describe how they would affect you personally. For example, in the case of bioethics, some people could be discriminated against because they have the alleles that would make them susceptible to carpal tunnel syndrome and so be dropped by their insurance company. Feel free to take this in any direction you like, but be sure to keep in based in the science you have learned so far. Each of the reflections should consist of at least two paragraphs and should have some scientific reference in addition to the te‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌xt.
