The Harvard reading, Contemporary Corporate Communications: Stakeholder engageme

The Harvard reading, Contemporary Corporate Communications: Stakeholder engagement and the Business Model, considers the shifting nature of business, society, media, and technology. To effectively communicate to its stakeholders, an organization must manage its identity. On page 5, the author states that crisis management is the most familiar aspect of corporate communication. While you may not work for a large corporation, there is merit to the notion that the organization must speak with one voice and speak quickly in a crisis. What forces (tradition, practice, and policy) would direct your organization’s public response if something horrible occurred at 4:38 this afternoon?

For this first milestone, first provide context for your consultation report by briefly describing the global health issue (maternal mortality) and the country (Haiti) that you will research and address in the final project case study scenario. This includes the core determinants of health of the population affected by this global health challenge.
Then, examine the various components of the health challenge, including its root causes and the negative outcomes that are a result of it. Finally, analyze the global stakeholders for their involvement and needs in addressing the challenge. This includes a consideration of local nongovernmental (NGO) and NGO partnerships that can be developed to mitigate the challenge.
To complete this assignment, review the Milestone One Guidelines and Rubric PDF document.

All writing assignments should be done in 12-point font, double-spaced. If referencing material outside of the course, use an accepted referencing format (e.g., APA or MLA style). All material from outside the course must be appropriately referenced or it will be considered plagiarism.
Read the supplemental material “Financial planning and budgeting” which summarizes the basic principles and tools of budgeting. Suppose you are a project leader at a local community-based organization (CBO), and you have been asked to deliver a new physical exercise program for 100 clients in the next year. The pre-program implementation deliverable to the CBO president is a detailed budget and justification. Prepare a 3-page document addressing each of the following:
1- Select and explain 3 budget principles and describe how these principles should guide the budgeting process for this CBO.
2- Think through the budgeting decision process and define the approach (bottom-up or top-down approach), timing (yearly, quarterly, monthly, or weekly), and forecast basis (zero-based budgeting or conventional budgeting) for the budget of the new CBO program.
3- Prepare a budget for the program, including inputs necessary to deliver
the program (unit price and quantities) and costs at the frequency you choose (yearly, quarterly, or monthly).
4- Provide a detailed budget justification by category.
