T‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌he remaining methodological chapters and the following sections need to be completed on top of my existing publish research proposal: Research Setting and Participant Sampling, Data Collection, Data Analysis, Schedule for Completion.
The current research methodology is a mixed method approach, i.e. a combination of qualitative and quantitative research. The research questions are as follows:
RQ1. How do journalists practice journalism concerning the standard of objectivity?
RQ2. To what extent does the objectivity standard affect the perceptions and behaviour of journalists and consumers towards news media?
RQ3. How do journalists and consumers perceive the objectivity standard regarding the news media?
RQ4. How do journalists and consumers respectively perceive the objectivity standard as damaging or suppor‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌tive to the public sphere?
It is important to note that the research method must be designed with the topic and research question in mind. The reader must be given an answer to the relationship between the research method and the research question. This means that it is necessary to read through my manuscript in order to complete the task.
